Simple Thyme Croutons

Croutons are simple and delicious.  Make a batch of these thyme croutons and add them to your soups and salads.  We like ours on the salty side so don’t hesitate to play around with the amounts of seasonings.  

Preparation time:  15 minutes
Makes 2-3 serving

     4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
     5 teaspoons salt
     2 teaspoon pepper
     2 thyme sprig
     2 cup diced whole wheat bread

Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  In a small bowl combine all ingredients and mix well.  Place the seasoned bread on a cookie sheet and put in the oven for 10 minutes or until crispy brown.
